The present project consists of a technical feasibility and applicability study of the combination of different disruptive, efficient and sustainable technologies that will allow overcoming a key challenge in the textile and water treatment industry, the environmental and economic improvement in the treatment of waste water .

We have recently successfully completed the construction and commissioning of a new Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (EDAR) in La Roca del Vallès for a company in the food sector. This project establishes itself as a benchmark in sustainable and efficient solutions for wastewater management.

At Cim Aigua, we provide our clients with equipment for the integrated sampling of wastewater, with the aim of understanding the quality of wastewater and its variations over time. This is a significant aid in water management during treatment processes.

We have recently completed a turnkey wastewater purification project for a prepared food company in El Bages. The main objective we had in this new facility was to design a treatment line with low energy consumption and with better discharge parameters.

This week’s news aims to explain a project to optimize water consumption in the continuous washing filtration stage, carried out at an ETAP (PWTP) in Berguedà.

The last project carried out was the replacement of resins and interior elements of a mixed-bed ion exchange column of a desalinated water demineralization system, for a company in the oil and gas sector located in the port of Barcelona.

In an era of water restrictions and regulatory changes due to drought episodes, CIM AIGUA is proposing a water treatment system that improves conventional biological treatment facilities or SBR and aims to promote the reuse of industrial water.

Next April we are going to carry out the commissioning of a turnkey plant, which we have been building for the last 6 months: a sludge thickener and the sludge dewatering treatment of an ETAP in Osona. This project has included the design, supply of equipment and materials, assembly and also programming by remote connection (via PLC and HMI).

The project consisted on the design, manufacture, installation and certification of activated carbon filters in the ingredient water production stage, with the aim of improving the filtration and reducing operation shutdowns, as well as to reduce the maintenance costs of existing filters.  

One of the preventive maintenance carried out in 2022 was for a 200-m³/day flow rate reverse osmosis plant for a manufacturer and distributor of industrial chemical products.

Last November we carried out a project to replace 18 units of 8’’ filter membranes for a reverse osmosis plant (25 m³/h –> 500 m³/day) for a company that manufactures cleaning and care products in Central Catalonia.

One of the services we offer is the management and execution of the maintenance of your facilities in order to reduce breakdowns and, as well, prevent operational stops in water production. 

Another project carried out for the food sector has been the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant in La Garrotxa.

Last August we started up a process water treatment plant for a ready-made food factory in the area of Bages. It is a turnkey project and, therefore, we have taken care of the design, the supply of materials and equipment, the assembly and the validation. The scope of the installation goes from the municipal network water connection to the treated water tank, including the pressure group for the internal network of the factory.
